A soft, romantic setting -perfect for relaxation after a long day of work or play. A favorite with guests and brides alike.
Ascend the tiny wooden stairs provided, onto a fluffy King size
pillow top bed. Pair this with plush bedding and a warm down comforter for your ultimate comfort. Add tons of comfy pillows and we are sure this room will provide the perfect setting to provide a wonderful nights sleep. The original fireplace with a
hand carved mantle and tile surround still remain to remind us of the
grandeur of the period. Cherry furnishings and an antique spinet desk provide lots of storage and a place to work (if you must!), with a separate sitting/dressing area where you can sit at the wicker table and chairs and enjoy coffee and the morning
paper. This suite has an oversized tiled en suite shower with sunflower showerhead. |

Emily's Suite:

Named after the original bride and homeowner, Emily Harris Sloan, the bedroom boasts a grand mahogany four poster queen size rice bed. The fireplace (with it's original apple green tile surround) lends itself to curling up on a comfy chair with a good book, or writing a letter at the lovely English writing desk.
The large airy ensuite bath was carefully renovated to preserve the original vintage 30's tub/shower combination and large pedestal sink along with an intricate patterned cream and black tile floor.
(Aged to perfection with an old world feeling!). |

Children and adults alike have enjoyed curling up in the twin bed loaded with comfy pillows, quilts and a down comforters to keep you cozy. This room is perfect for the family traveling on college visits, or friends who prefer to share a room.
