For the care and comfort of all our guests,The Edward Harris House has adopted
the following policies:
By securing a reservation, the guest is acknowledging that they have read and
agree with our stated policies.
Published rates are subject to change without notice and may vary according to
availability, holidays or special events.
The rooms rate is for single or double occupancy.
Prices do not include 14% NYS sales and local room taxes.
A credit card will hold your reservation, with payment collected upon arrival
at The Inn. During special events, college weekends, wedding or whole house rentals
- a credit card, or check deposit may be required upon the date of reservation.
Outstanding balance is collected upon check-in at the Inn.
RATES: Our
guest rooms include breakfast,
but not taxes:
US $139.00 -189.00 Double
occupancy.
Special rates available
for retired persons, long-term
guests, relocations and
business travelers. Please
contact the Inn. Prices are
based on double occupancy
and do not include tax. Extra
guests (age 12 and over)
are an additional $30.00
per night.
US
AND CANADIAN RESERVATIONS: Rooms
are secured by a credit card
deposit of one night's stay
or 1/2 value of multiple
nights stay. Balance to be
paid upon check-in at the
Inn. Any incidentals will
be added to your bill at
the end of your visit.
Forms of payment: AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal checks, travelers checks, and cash are accepted.
INTERNATIONAL
RESERVATIONS: Overseas
reservations are conveniently
made directly on our secure
website requiring a valid credit
card on file.
Please
use the 'RESERVATION'
button at the top of the page
to make your reservation requests. If
you prefer to pay by check,
your check must be in full
and have fully cleared your
bank by your date of arrival.
GROUP
RESERVATIONS: Due
to our size, we consider a group
a reservation 2 or more rooms.
Cancellation is 30 days in advance
for full refund, 14 days for
partial refund. Please be aware
that groups will be billed a
minimum of $10 per day housekeeping/gratuity
charge.
MINIMUM
STAYS: Two-night
minimum stays are required
on major college
event weekends and some
special event weekends.
CANCELLATION
POLICY: Late
cancellations can affect us
significantly. For the benefit
of all, we ask your consideration
in making and revising
your reservations. Cancellations
received less than 14 days
prior to your date of arrival
will be charged a 20% processing
fee.
Cancellations received
less than 48 hours prior
to your date of arrival
are non-refundable. We
understand that unforeseen
situations may cause you
to change your plans, and
we will do our best to
re-let your room, refunding
the full amount (less the
processing fee).
If
rooms are not claimed by
7pm on the day of scheduled
arrival, guest will be
responsible for the full
amount (plus a service
fee) to be charged to guests
account. Guests checking
out early will be responsible
for any unused rooms/days.
CHECK-IN-TIME: Check-in
time is 3 PM and Check-out
time is 11 AM. To have staff
available for your arrival,
please contact us if you need
to make other arrangements.
SMOKING
: Due
to our insurance as well
as the health and safety
of our guests, we are a non-smoking
facility. Smoking is permitted
on porches and patio areas
only. For those who smoke
inside their rooms or common
areas, a $100 fumigation
fee will be charged to their
account and the guest/s will
be asked to leave the facility.
CHILDREN :
For
the comfort of your child and
your fellow guests, we have
several room accommodations
that may be better suited for
families traveling with children.
When planning your trip, please
contact the Inn regarding children
under the age of 12.
PETS:
We
regret we re unable to
accept pets. Please
be aware that there are
two friendly 'hypoallergenic'
puppies on premises. (A
Maltese and Havanese).
PARKING : Off
street parking available.
